How the Australian passport photo process works
An Australian passport photo is 35×45 mm with the face measuring 32–36 mm from chin to crown, on a plain light grey or white background. For a paper application you supply two identical prints, one endorsed on the back by your guarantor. Australia also offers a digital photo option for some renewals through the app. Snapfora sizes to 35×45 mm and checks head height and tilt so both prints match and pass the automated check.
