How the Brazilian passport photo process works
Brazil uses a larger 50×70 mm (5×7 cm) photo on a plain white background, similar to Canada rather than the ICAO 35×45 mm — a key difference for anyone reusing a European-style photo. The photo must be recent and front-facing, with a neutral expression and the head centred. Passport appointments are booked through the Polícia Federal, and for many in-person services the print is checked on the spot. Snapfora outputs the 50×70 mm format so a self-made Brazilian photo isn't cropped to the wrong, smaller size.
