How the Spanish passport photo process works
Spain uses a distinctive small 26×32 mm photo — noticeably smaller than the ICAO 35×45 mm — for both the passport and the DNI national ID. The background is plain uniform white, the face fills 70–80% of the frame, and you leave a small margin (about 2 mm) above the head. Expression must be neutral, head straight and uncovered, no sunglasses. Because the 26×32 mm size is unusual, the easiest path is a Spanish photographer or estanco booth that knows the format, but Snapfora outputs the exact 26×32 mm dimensions so a self-made photo isn't accidentally cropped to the wrong size.
